Make Space

Make Space is a digital exhibition in which teaches non-designers how to use white space in a familiar format: a magazine cover. There are two parts to this exhibition, the magazine and the life-size magazine cover constructed of pegboard.

This interactive exhibition allows the viewers to add different phrases that you would typically see on a cover of a magazine, such as “Featuring Article” or “Special Issue” and then proceed to stand inside of the frame and act as the “main subject” in a polaroid film photoshoot. The purpose of this is to show the viewers how white space can frame the subject and affect your overall design.

So, make space.
